Win Server R2 File Server--(iii) quota limits

Description

This DEMO we will have a quota limit for the root shared folder in the file server: all subfolders underIT , with quotas limited to 10Mper subfolder size.

The configuration process is as follows:

• Open: File Server Resource Manager, click: Create quota template

• Set template name:10M limit, enter at space limit 10MB

• Quota template creation is complete, such as :

• Create quotas for all subfolders under the IT shared folder, navigate to: Quota management, click: Create Quotas

• Enter the shared folder C:\ITthat you want to apply, and select: Automatically apply templates and create quotas in existing subfolders and new subfolders, and select the quota limit template as:10M limit

We use the Win7 Client access share for quota limit testing, as follows:

• access the shared folder on Win7 through tech01 Administrator IT

• Go to the IT folder
