Win7 using subst to set virtual drive characters

Source: Internet
Author: User

There is a powerful tool in Windows: Subst, located under C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

Use the command in cmd: subst [Drive letter] [folder path] to map a folder as a hard disk in the form of a file system. Example: Subst A:f:\file

You can view the list that has been mapped by using subst without parameters.

Windows is a multi-user group system, and if a drive letter is mapped, it is not seen in the explorer, but subst can find the map list again. The user group for CMD is wrong and can be resolved by modifying the startup cmd.exe: Runas/user:wangpei cmd. The Wangpei here is my username.
