Working Method-correct way to ask questions

Although the project ended after more than a month in the latest project group, for me who have been doing a serious project for a long time, I still learned a lot, and one of them is the working method-the correct way to ask questions.

 

At the regular meeting, the Project Manager will summarize the Problems and Solutions encountered by members during their work on this day. At first, I thought it was easy for the manager to work. I learned from pl that it was very tiring to prepare for the meeting when chatting with PL. One of the tasks was to collect questions from everyone and then list the topic, the solution will be discussed at the meeting.

 

One day, the manager explained the importance of communication. He gave us an example, as shown below:

This communication is not an effective communication. The correct method is to find out why the attribute of the button in the DB is false, and explain the cause.

 

Well, it's no wonder that when I went to ask him a question, he always liked to ask me why. I remember that at that time, my answer was always unclear. Now let's think about it. According to this standard, that is definitely not an effective communication method.

 

Therefore, at work, no matter who you ask, you must explain why the attribute of the button in the DB is false.
