In practice, users may often need to edit a large number of formats that are consistent, with only a few different documents, such as reminders, employee payroll, and so on. If you use manual editing to print, although each document only needs to modify the individual data, but once the number of copies is more, this becomes a very distressed thing. So what can be done to reduce the tedious duplication of work and improve efficiency?
In fact, the WPS text added "Mail Merge" function, you can easily meet the needs of users.
Introduction to Mail Merge
What is "mail merge"? In terms of feature naming, mail merge appears to be related to mail, in fact, its role is in the mail document (main document) in the fixed content, through the database (or data table) in the integration of records, so that the bulk generation of the required mail documents, thus greatly improve the efficiency of the work, "mail merge" hence the name.
"Mail Merge" function is not only used in bulk processing letters, envelopes and other mail-related documents, has been widely used in bulk production of labels, payroll, transcripts and other applications.
The following is an example of "making an employee information card" to give users a brief introduction to how to use the mail merge feature.
Building a Database
First use the WPS table to create an "Employee Information table", after the completion of the worksheet as shown in Figure 1:

Create a main document
Start the WPS text, add the table using the Table tool, and create the "main document" for the employee information card, as shown in Figure 2:
