1. RHEL and centos can be used in Yum sources.

2. Yum command operation

Yum repolist // check whether the local Yum source file is correctly configured and whether the yum source file can be connected normally.

Yum clean all // clear the local cache

Yum makecache // cache the information on the yum source to the local device to accelerate the search speed.

 

Yum searches all files in the/etc/yum. Repos. d/directory. And perform the test. Whether enable is set to 1.

There are many yum sources, which can be configured locally or on the Internet. By default, RHEL official yum is unavailable unless you have purchased a license.
