6th Week of 2015 study report

I. Summary of the week

1. This week, we looked at the top of the wave and prepared to see the book next week. The book review, written on the watercress, is attached to the back of this article.

2."GitHub Primer and Practice" read the first 4 chapters, apply for GitHub account, prepare for the first 4 chapters of the weekend, push some lintcode on the code on GitHub.

It took me about two weeks to finish reading the book, and it was a good feeling overall.

The book covers the entire growth of at-T, IBM, Apple, Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Yahoo, Hewlett-Packard, Motorola and some other Silicon Valley companies. I think this is a very good book, the school only taught us programming language, computer systems and other knowledge, but did not tell us what this knowledge can let us do. This book just tells me, I have these knowledge and skills, what I can do, my future career development is what, these are I as a prospective graduate of the problem, is eager to know the answer to the question.
Two points of this book I think there are two points, one is more vivid language than the general computer history books, not so cold, big, obscure, like in the Ming and Qing dynasties with the story of a storyteller with the tone of the word. The 2nd is the introduction of these companies are very close to us, more representative and modern sense, I feel myself in this wave. After reading the book I also some things, such as why I used a good Yahoo mailbox suddenly can not use, I was probably a university when the application of Yahoo mailbox, now vaguely remember the feeling is Yahoo mail to people feel very serious, like a wardrobe in the formal outfit, But I did not feel the decline of Yahoo, so much so that it was sent to the user to the user to migrate the mailbox notification when a blank face.
