About a workaround for not writing or debugging a Web application in vs2005 (prompt is not currently asp.net 2.0)

In general, when you install VS 2005, Setup automatically configures the local IIS service to use ASP.net 2.0. We can write or debug a Web application directly under VS 2005.

However, if we first install VS2005, then we install IIS. At this point, IIS is set to use ASP.net 1.0. When we write or debug a Web program in VS2005, it prompts you (presumably, the current configuration is not asp.net 2.0, ask if you want to modify the configuration now), and if you choose to modify the configuration now, you will not normally be able to configure it successfully.

At this point, you only need to perform the following command in the Visual Studio 2005 command Prompt

Aspnet_regiis-i-enable

ASP.net 2.0 will be installed.
