For more information about debian networking-Linux Release Technology-Debian, see the following. Debian does not install the pppoeconf software by default (depressing). We need to manually install the software packages that pppoeconf depends on: modconf package, ppp package, and libpcap package.
Simulate the debian system disk as a device and load it to the cdrom Directory: mount-o loop disc name. iso/cdrom.
Switch to the cdrom Directory: run the ls command on cd/cdrom to view the content on the disk.
Use the cd command to switch to the above package and install: dpkg-I *
