The previous chapter describes the current situation of enterprise information system construction, and the enterprise information system construction model driven by enterprise needs and developed by software companies, which brings problems to enterprises and software companies, these problems affect the development of China's software industry.
The key to how we analyze and solve these problems is how we look at them.
If we stand Program From the perspective of Members, we can't see the problem at all, or there is no problem, because programmers use programming methods to solve a function. Whether these functions are properly designed does not matter to programmers. Programmers only care about the ability to compile the program. It is no problem to compile the program, but it is only possible to make the program.
From the perspective of the project designer, we cannot see the problem clearly. Because the project designer is only responsible for the project requirements, his evaluation criteria for the system is very simple. If the project design meets the requirements of the project, the project is OK. If the project cannot meet the requirements, there is a problem. This problem can be solved through design. Although some senior project designers put the excellent design concepts and methods of other projects into the project design based on their own experience and accumulation, A good project cannot change the level of many other projects. Because personal abilities are always limited. More importantly, it is difficult for a project designer to meet the requirements of the demand side. The only requirement is that the project designer's limitations have been fundamentally doomed.
If we stand in the perspective of the project demand creator, we will not see the problem, because the proposal of the enterprise's business requirements reflects the urgency of the business needs, as long as we can put forward the business needs, developers can complete the development. Whether this requirement is the most reasonable represents the highest business realm in the industry, whether it meets the overall development of enterprise information construction, and whether it can be shared by more internal users, demand side is not considered. This is because the demand side of an enterprise is often generated by a specific business department. The demand side is concentrated in different departments and is put forward by specialized departments of the enterprise. This situation is rare. Therefore, the level of demand determines the level of the system. In China, demand is often closely related to their operating methods, most of which are market-oriented emergency demands. These demands are subject to a large number of uncertainties and time requirements, which leads to repeated changes in demand and a rush in development. Such a result is certainly not good.
If we don't stand above, what else can we stand in? Can we look at the problems in Enterprise Information Construction from a global perspective? The answer is yes. From this perspective, many people find that enterprises (especially large enterprises) have various problems in enterprise information construction. For example, information construction is disordered, demands are never met, systems are built more and more, information cannot be shared, functions are crossed, maintenance costs are getting higher and higher, and business-dominated technologies (the role of technology is limited to business needs) and so on. In the face of these problems, people can only sigh with hope. But what we want to say is that we are short-sighted from the perspective of an enterprise, even the global perspective. Because his vision is limited to this enterprise.
Can we look at the information construction of enterprises in the industry from an industry perspective? The answer is also acceptable. At this level, many people are proposing why Enterprise A has developed a system and enterprise B wants to develop it? Why do enterprises A, B, and even C, and even all over the industry use a unified system? Soon they got a strong answer: No! Because every enterprise is different, the system is definitely not the same. We will not judge this answer first. We are very glad to see that, from this perspective, some people have seen the problem, that is, repeated development! Especially when software companies see this, they especially want their software to be productized and sell their products to every enterprise in the industry. However, software productization is difficult. Many people say that the desire is good and it is difficult to do so. From this perspective, we are still concerned with productization and sharing of a system.
Can we look at these issues from a cross-industry perspective? Someone will say as soon as they hear it, what is the station so high? The following problems have not been solved yet! Empty talk! We will not explain this question first. We just want to say that from this point of view, we can better see the problem. We not only see internal problems of an enterprise or an industry, but also national problems. That is to say, the information construction level of enterprises in different industries is extremely unbalanced, the system is extremely differentiated, the system sharing between industries is zero, and information exchange between industries is almost blank. All problems have emerged, so that we can put all the problems on a surgical platform for thorough anatomy to see where the cause is. This anatomy must be at the theoretical level, because only theories can be abstracted from various practical aspects and applied to reality.
