About "new" technology... Open by Ajax

I saw this so what does Ajax mean to your business apps on Darrell Norton's blog.

Pay special attention to the following sentence:

But much Ajax now is just "Hey look what I can do" Not What I shoshould do to help the user

There is another sentence:

Some new typical feature (in this case not even new) gets hyped way out of proportion and the press goes wild. Oh and the trendy developers and IT guys go right along.

I flipped through the first update at noon.ProgramClerk, kaneboy gave an introduction and outlook on Ajax. Some people have introduced Ajax in the garden a while ago. This is really nothing new, but there are more and more people interested in it recently.

The reason why I threw it on the homepage is to look at everyone's attitude towards technology or a new technology. Discussion.
