for the program developers, Eclipse is no stranger, it provides us with a very broad platform to develop the program. also we can use it to develop Android programs.
However, in eclipse it is not possible to develop the Android program directly, we need to install an ADT plugin. The installation of the ADT plug-in is described below.
The first step is to add ADT
Open eclipse, go to the work screen and click Help on the menu bar, select Install new software. Click the Add button after entering.
The second step is to load ADT
When open, name input ADT, location input https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/and click OK
If https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/is slow, you can switch to http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/and then click OK.
Step three, download ADT
after entering the address, we will search for a moment, Wait a moment, and the content that needs to be loaded will appear, selecting all the components in the first development tool (Develpe tools). Keep Next waiting for the download to be done.
It is important to note that if your eclipse tip is wrong and you cannot proceed to the next step then your version of Eclipse has a problem or the download file site is strong, please replace the other version to download or manually download the ADT installation package (see below).
To manually download and install the ADT installation package
