Add your own menu bar to the main menu of Gnomedesktop

Add your menu bar-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information to the main menu of Gnomedesktop. For more information, see the following. Let your custom sub-menu sit at the same level as the system menu:

1. Open the/etc/xdg/menus/applications. menu file in a text editor.
2. Add the following content:

Esito. directory



EsITo





3. Open a file named. directory in/usr/share/desktop-directories/in a text editor and save it as esito. directory.
4. Modify the esito. directory file:
[Desktop Entry]
Name = esITo
Name [zh_CN] = esITo custom menu
Comment = esITo menu
Comment [zh_CN] = esITo custom menu
Iconstmemacs.png
Type = Directory

Note: Name = esITo must be an English Name.
Name [zh_CN] = esITo Chinese Name unless you use English
Comment = esITo menu
Comment [zh_CN] = esITo custom menu Chinese comments
The Icon=emacs.png menu icon is selected in the/usr/share/pixmaps directory.
Type = Directory indicates that the folder is required.
5. Open a shortcut in the/usr/share/applications directory in a text editor and change the Categories to Categories = esITo.
6. Restart X System (RedHat \ Fedora Core basically needs to restart Linux)
7. esITo is my own name, which can be any English logo.
8. If you have not set any shortcuts to your menu items, your menu items will not be displayed!
