Ajax training Lecture 3: Developing a simple Ajax chat room

This is the development of an Ajax chat room, which aims to help you to consolidate the basic knowledge commonly used in Ajax described in the previous two times. However, the functions of this chat room are no longer simple, and I have repeatedly stressed this in the video.

This recording is an attempt, because I want to increase the ratio of "example" to "hands on lab" in the subsequent recording process, however, the current recording method (captivate is a frame-by-frame recording, however, the recording time of each frame is hard to grasp) and the recording conditions (the machine is still relatively slow, which increases the difficulty of recording) are all great challenges. The results of this attempt are not optimistic, the film size has become relatively large (this time it has almost reached 20 mb), so this recording method and skill should be further tried.

In fact, there are other reasons why this recording is not very good. I was going to finish recording on Tuesday. I didn't expect my friend to "suddenly" my birthday, so I only had a little "quiet" time to record lectures, after recording for a while, you have to stop. After returning from a friend's dinner table, I went straight to the company and finally found a quiet working environment. Therefore, you can clearly find the difference in the recording environment in the video: The sound suddenly changes from a certain moment to a larger echo, I found a small room in the company, closed the door, and recorded the remaining parts. In addition, I have a cold today, so my voice is always unconscious. I still don't know if the new captivate version on my machine is faulty, or if I still don't know how to use it. I am not doing well in post-repair and makeup, so this video will have a lot of cutting marks. I will make some improvements in the future.

However, there is also good news. After I added 1 GB of memory to my poor notebook and changed my new version of captivate, the entire recording process never crashed again, the response speed is much faster during editing, and there is no longer a three-minute open and save time. It takes 3 to 5 seconds for each click to respond. This kind of "excellent" experience gives me some hope-it's not a reflection, it's not an irony, it's true, but it's clearly what we felt before "relative.
