Android switch (String) Error: Cannot switch on a value of type String to source level below 1.7

The decision condition of the switch statement can accept Int,byte,char,short and cannot accept other types
Only JDK version 1.7 or more can support string

Set the following to resolve the issue: (If there is no JDK1.7 version, you can download the installation)
Menu Options--"Project->properties->java Compiler->compiler compliance Level: Select 1.7
