Android using Firebase

Firebase is a mobile platform that can help you quickly develop high-quality applications, increase your user base, and earn more revenue. Firebase is made up of complementary functions that can be blended to suit your needs, and analytics is at the heart of Firebase. You can use the Assistant window shown in Figure 1 to explore and consolidate the firebase services in your application directly from Android Studio.

Installation

Make sure you have Google Repository 26 or later installed, using the following steps:

1. Click Tools > Android> SDK Manager.
2. Click the SDK Tools tab.
3. Check the Google repository check box and click OK.
4. Click OK to install.
5. Click Background to complete the installation in the background, or wait for the installation to complete, and then click Finish.

Use

You can open and use the Assistant window in Android Studio by following these steps:

1. Click Tools > Firebase to open the Assistant window.
2. Click to expand one of the listed features (for example, Google Analytics), and then click the Get started Tutorial to connect to Firebase and add the necessary code to your application.
