Apache Open Source Project--ibatis

The term IBATIS is derived from the combination of "Internet" and "Abatis", an open source project launched by Clinton begin in 2001. Initially focused on the development of cryptographic software, it is now a Java-based persistence layer framework. The persistence layer framework provided by Ibatis includes SQL maps and Data Access Objects (DAO), as well as a Jpetstore instance developed using this framework.

IBATIS is currently available in three languages, including: Java,. NET and Ruby. Here is the architecture diagram for Ibatis
