Bannerplay: A banner ad platform similar to AdWords

For small and medium-sized enterprises with limited budgets, it is not easy to make internet advertising a success. While Google and Facebook services help small businesses easily buy ads, banner ads are still dominated by large, purchasing-power companies. Israeli company Bannerplay is trying to offer professional banner ads in Pay-per-click mode.

"Basically, Bannerplay is an end-to-end solution, a system that provides banner ads in a simple way," says Niv Calderon, Bannerplay marketing director. You don't have to ask a designer to make a banner ad, and as long as you buy media resources and use some analytics tools to get statistics, we can offer a one-stop solution. ”

Bannerplay uses Google AdWords as a way to support online purchases of ads on different Web pages and to put banner ads made by customers. Customers pay by Pay-per-click Mode, which means they can allocate a fixed budget for advertising campaigns, and the ads will be displayed until the budget is exhausted.

Bannerplay said that according to the company's statistics, customers can adjust advertising marketing activities in real time. In addition, customers can create multiple banners in a single marketing campaign. "We want to make the banner making system as easy as Google ads," says Calderon. ”

Bannerplay was founded last January, with the founder including incumbent CEO Rafi Ton and CTO Yoad Gidron. Calderon said the company's two founders had created banner ads for big brands and wanted to help small customers more easily use popular advertising platforms. According to Calderon, two founders are trying to develop a platform for everyone who wants to buy banner ads that can be easily advertised without paying a cost of $ tens of thousands of.

Bannerplay's goal is very ambitious. The company, which has only 6 employees, wants to challenge Google by providing low-cost, efficient online advertising tools. Calderon said that the company's advantage is to simplify the user interface, so everyone can carry out professional-level internet marketing activities. After making a banner, the customer can decide whether to select the banner to be dropped by Bannerplay.

Although the process is highly automated, Bannerplay says such controls can be achieved if customers have special needs, such as targeting specific ad audiences.

"Our interface is very simple and you can design a banner ad in 5 minutes," says Calderon. We have provided dozens of ready-made templates. We also offer free custom designs for customers who buy 200 of dollars in media resources. "The company also provides banner game templates, such as lucky Wheels and Scrabble games, which will make banner ads more interactive."

Bannerplay also provides advanced functionality to attract the participation of advertising audiences. "We allow customers to embed YouTube videos, contact forms and Facebook ' like ' information in banners, so you don't need to create a start page for marketing campaigns," says Calderon. ”

The next step for the company is to build a network of designers and game developers. Designers and game developers will get paid when their work is applied. For example, if the Advertiser uses a designer's template, the designer will be able to get a small portion of the revenue once the banner ads are clicked. "One of our major concerns is building a strong designer and game developer community," says Calderon. ”

Bannerplay wants to develop an ad ecosystem that links designers, developers, advertisers and end users. Bannerplay's role in this ecosystem is to buy media resources, provide banner-making platforms, and advertise online. As Calderon said: "When you advertise on Google, you don't know where the ads will appear, but you trust Google." We also hope to achieve this goal. ”

Bannerplay currently offers free online panels. The company's services are available in English only, but Calderon says Bannerplay plans to translate services into several other languages. Bannerplay's initial funding came from angel investors in Israel, which did not have a plan for further financing.
