Bugs postponed DebianLenny's release-Linux Release Technology-Debian information. The following is a detailed description. Debian Lenny was originally planned to be released in September and is now delayed until October. Debian developer Alexander Reichle-Schmehl admitted that the new goal is still too optimistic.

Although there are more than 200 important buckets waiting for processing, if the Debian community is willing to speed up, Lenny will only see the sun faster. Steve McIntyre, Debian project director, said the development team was working to solve issue-related crisis bugs as quickly as possible, and considered that, if necessary, some problematic software packages would be abandoned from the release. The latest release date is the end of October.
