The site and page created through the template is just a prototype of the structure, now to open these pages, add a variety of elements to start building their own home. We start with the main page (index.htm), this is the door of home.

Action Knowledge Template page: Opens the home page file, and in the Page view window you can see the approximate structure of the home page. Pasting and entering this operation is very simple, and the general text editing program is not different. In fact, many text-editing operations are similar to Word programs. Includes input, copy, paste, undo, find, style, font, color, spacing, symbol, border, paragraph formatting, and so on.

Although most of the text decorations in FrontPage are similar to Word, there are a lot of small differences, but these differences do not cause a lot of trouble for users, but there are some differences to be noted.

In a Web page, paragraphs and wrapping are very different, and general paragraphs and paragraphs are spaced very wide, so you often notice that you want to wrap (press "Shift+enter"). If you want to display line breaks and paragraph breaks in a Web page, you can click the Show All button in the toolbar (behind the first row of tool buttons).

Action Add clip art: In FrontPage, many clips are built in, and can be easily added. In the Web page, move the mouse to the location you want to add, and then insert/Picture/clip art to open the Clip Art Selection window, which is very rich in clip art and sorted and stored for easy searching. After you find the clip you want, click the clip and click the "Insert Picture" button in the pop-up menu. You can then see the picture in the page editing window.

Action Save Picture: Now Save the page, the program prompts you to save the picture's destination folder, select the picture saved directory, file name and file format (also can follow the default settings), the picture saved to the site. It is recommended that you save the picture in the folder "image" that you set up in your site folder.

After the picture is added, you may want to rearrange the picture's position in the page, add the effects of the various pictures, and set the properties of the picture.

Action Edit Picture: In the page editing window, select the picture, and then drag the picture border to resize. Drag the picture to change the position in the page. In addition, when you select a picture, in the interface window below will display the Picture Editing toolbar, including a variety of image editing tools, such as in the picture to add text, adjust the location. Note that when you resize the picture, the program will save the picture with a new picture size.

To set the properties of a picture: the properties of a picture generally refer to some internal properties of the picture, such as the source file, format parameters, display mode, alignment, border and white, and so on. Right click on the picture, select "Picture Properties" in the pop-up menu, you can set picture properties in the pop-up Picture Properties window.

Action Insert Picture file: First you will insert a picture copy to the site folder, select the menu "insert/Picture/From File", in the pop-up window to select the picture file to insert. Then, adjust and modify the picture according to the above method.

Action Settings Text hyperlink: Open the Home page file, with the mouse to select the hyperlink text-"Welcome to the Beans Home", and then press the right mouse button. Select Hyperlink from the pop-up menu. Click the Hyperlink Settings window, and then select the hyperlink file in the list-"photo.htm", and you'll see that the hyperlink is set up. Note that in the page editing window, you can hold down the CTRL key and click the hyperlink to open the page that the hyperlink points to.

Action Settings Picture hyperlink: Right click to set the picture of the hyperlink, in the right-click menu, select Hyperlink Properties, and then set the file to link, you can also link pictures, e-mail addresses.
