Although Internet cafes are increasingly demanding for integrated cabling, small and medium-sized Internet cafes do not have much budget for cabling, how can we deploy cabling for Small and Medium-sized Internet cafes economically and efficiently? The following is our personal experience in building a 120-host internet cafe.
I. Planning, drawing and Design
This Internet cafe uses a disk solution, which has low network requirements and limited budgets. 1000 M Trunk, 100 M To the desktop structure.
Plan the machine placement location and Quantity Based on the site size, draw a sketch from the field measurement, and complete the construction drawing on the basis of the sketch. This process is completed at the site to facilitate the confirmation of the specific size, and also determine the switch location and the basic number of cables.

1000 M The main network cable uses the AVAYA cat5e unshielded twisted pair wires, and the position of the switch in the working subsystem uses the AVAYA cat5e information module and cat5e jumper. The vswitch is connected to the client only 100 M Only AVAYA cat5e unshielded twisted pair wires are used. The core switch is H3C S1216, and the peripheral switch is S1026T. Out of limited budget, no racks and cabinets are used. During construction, because the customer had decorated the site in advance, it was impossible to use the buried and wall-mounted solution. The open pipe was used for cabling, and the network cable was mounted to the wall with expansion bolts. Clear pipe uses PVC pipe. During this period, I also encountered an episode, because the circuit is also open pipe, so 1000 M The problem of parallel cabling between the main line and the circuit is solved.

Iii. Construction Process
The first step is to deploy the main trunk line. First, set the length of the six cat5e lines according to the site requirements. At the same time, other workers began to install expansion bolts and pipe cards. Then, the network cable is mounted to the open pipe and fixed on the wall. The cables to the vswitch end are mounted to the wall in a clear box. In order to open the distance from the circuit, the network line is fixed in 3 meters High Position, connected to the switch through jumper.
Let's talk about it. 1000 M Network cable cabling experience. The tensile strength of cat5e cables is limited 11 kg The tension beyond this range will damage the internal stringing structure and affect the transmission speed. Therefore, pay special attention to moving, threading, and sorting. For a network cable, bending 90 degrees will affect the transmission speed (the length of one side is twice the length of the other side when bending 90 degrees). Therefore, an angle should be used to bend the wall, make the network cable 60 degrees. Finally, of course, you need to reserve a network cable for future use. The network cable cannot be tied into a group like a wire. The best way is to keep the circle in the middle.
Finished 1000 M Network deployment, 100 M The requirement is much lower. Because the two switches are installed together, each switch has more than 40 network cables. In this case, the PVC pipe is replaced 50mm Crude pipe. The network cable is pulled one by one based on the location of the machine, and serial numbers are laid in sequence with the line mark printer (you can also use the network cable flag, it is easier to find the network cable without the confusion of the Cabinet ), you can start to suppress the crystal head. The manufacture of the crystal head is very simple. The pressed cable can be put into the PVC pipe after another test to ensure it is correct. The test network cable uses Fluke LinkRunner.

For wooden tables, PVC pipes can be inserted in a slotted manner, while the new special tables for internet bars reserve cable bridges and cable racks for convenient cabling. It is naturally easy to construct a new type of webbar table, and nylon buckle can be used in a fixed way. On the switch end, because there is no cabinet, a large number of nylon buckles are used to sort out the network harness. After connecting the network cable on the switch end, it is found that the encoding printed for the first time is not easy to find, the network cable encoding is printed again. This intensive 100 M Note that the wiring of a large network cable is twisted. Before you wear the PVC pipe, arrange the network cable neatly and arrange the knotted network cable.
Iv. Testing and troubleshooting
Network cables and network devices are mainly used as hardware testers. devices such as Fluke4000 and SmartBits are not supported by small and medium-sized network engineering companies. We can only use the existing software and equipment for testing, and the load test can only wait for the upper-seat peak to observe the network situation. The basic test method is to establish FTP on the server and transmit files from the client or peer server for testing. Use Ramdisk to create A virtual disk on server A, and set up FTP to point to the virtual disk. Place 1G File. On server B, you can also use Ramdisk to create A virtual disk. You can use the software to download the files on server A's FTP and calculate the average value.
After all tests are completed, it is found that there is a problem with the B12 network cable under the #2 switch and it needs to be replaced. A network cable on the main route may be damaged due to installation negligence, and the test speed is only 30 M Around/s. To determine the problem, use the troubleshooting method, first of all, the main line, the network cable is pressed to the crystal head, test again, the speed is normal; the jumper is tested separately, the speed is normal; finally, replace the information module of the vswitch and test again to restore the normal speed. # The testing of the B12 line under vswitch No. 2 shows that there is a fault. The surface is not damaged after being taken out of the PVC tube. If the test is performed again, it is found that the sequence of the crystal head is incorrect. This indicates that you cannot rely solely on testing instruments. Manual troubleshooting is also very important.

The overall network budget for this Internet cafe is only about 10000 yuan. We try not to use expensive components during construction, give up distribution cabinets to reduce costs, streamline personnel, and work with electricians and decoration workers, if there is no labor cost, the budget is nearly a thousand yuan. This also reflects the lack of knowledge about the value of cabling in most small and medium-sized Internet cafes. Network cabling itself is a very high-cost field. Small and medium-sized Internet cafes are cost-effective because they are under the pressure of slow recovery, so they can save and save, followed by endless network problems. At the same time, wiring manufacturers rarely produce products suitable for Internet cafes. The launch of standardization and related products is what small and medium-sized Internet cafes need most now.
