Suppose we want the user www-date to have the reboot permission, you can use uid/gid for control: # groupaddreboot # cd/usr/local # mkdirreboot # chownroot: rebootreboot/# chmod750reboot/# cdreboot # cp/sbin/reboot. # chmod4755reb assume that we want the user www-date to have the reboot permission, and the uid/gid can be used for control:
# Groupadd reboot
# Cd/usr/local
# Mkdir reboot
# Chown root: reboot/
# Chmod 750 reboot/
# Cd reboot
# Cp/sbin/reboot.
# Chmod 4755 reboot
# Usermod-G reboot www-date
Now, www-date can run/usr/local/reboot to restart the machine.
