CentOS installation Pdo_mysql Extension unsuccessful

centospdophp installing PDO MySQL

Environment: Centos 7
Installing the Pdo_mysql extension on a PHP5.4.16 basis is unsuccessful.

My Follow the steps:
1) Find the Pdo_mysql under the ext. PHP installation package;
2) Perform]$ phpize
3) Execution: $./configure--with-php-config=/usr/bin/php-config--with-pdo-mysql=/var/lib/mysql
4) Error message:
Checking for mysql_config ... not found
Checking for MySQL install under/var/lib/mysql ... can not find it
Configure:error:Unable to find your MySQL installation

I'm not going to try any of these paths down here.

Whereis MySQL

MySQL:/usr/bin/mysql/usr/lib64/mysql/usr/include/mysql/usr/share/mysql/usr/share/man/man1/mysql.1.gz

which MySQL

/bin/mysql


