1. Power-on BIOS self-check and load BIOS information

2. Check 0th channels, 1st sectors, read MBR (512 bytes)

3. Start BootLoader (GRUB)

Press e to enter edit mode. Press B to start booting.

Root: specify the boot drive letter.

Kernel: specify the file running the kernel followed by single to enter the single user mode.

Initrd: specifies the ramdisk file

These files are saved to/boot/grub. conf.

Default: Select the kernel or system for the title configuration. each title is numbered from 0.

Timeout: the time-out period displayed in the menu.

Splashimage: specifies the background image of the menu, which can only be 14bits color, xpm format, and gzip compression.

Hiddenmenu: hide menu
