Change server name to computer name

If the installation is complete and the server name needs to be changed to the computer name, perform the following operations.

1. Check whether the Instance name and computer name are consistent
Select @ servername, serverproperty ('servername ')

2. Change to consistent
If serverproperty ('servername') <> @ servername
Begin
Declare @ server sysname
Set @ server =servername
Exec sp_dropserver @ Server = @ Server
Set @ Server = cast (serverproperty ('servername') as sysname)
Exec sp_addserver @ Server = @ server, @ local = 'local'
End

3. Restart the SQL service.
