Google, the search engine giant, and Google Chrome, the first web browser released in last September, have won the recognition of users by virtue of its concise appearance, powerful JavaScript execution capabilities, and quick webpage browsing, the war in the browser market also began. Up to now, Google Chrome's share in the desktop market has exceeded Opera. However, the depressing problem is that Google Chrome has not been released for Windows, Mac, and Linux versions. Google promised to launch the Chrome versions of these two platforms long ago. However, they seem to encounter more difficulties than they imagined, chrome's interface supervisor Ben Goodger acknowledged this in the email.

A few days ago, the first batch of Google Chrome For MAC finally appeared, proving that the MAC version of Chrome already has a preliminary UI and can enable web pages. Of course, while developing the MAC version, another Google Group is developing Chrome for Linux.

According to Ben Goodger, the Chrome browser for Linux will adopt the GTK + toolkit. When Ben Goodger was asked why Qt was not used, he explained that Qt restricted the minimum common subset supported by each platform framework. It is also declared that Chrome's cross-platform is not a simple clone.

When talking about Chrome of Mac, Ben Goodger said that porting Windows directly is absolutely unacceptable, everything will develop a native version for the MAC system from the bottom layer.

It is reported that Chrome for MAC and Linux versions will be released in June this year!
