For this reason, I have used Performance Monitor (Performance Monitor) heavily, but I can't get the SQL Server performance metrics the DBA needs. Is there a practical tool that can easily collect such statistics?
A: One of the Performance Monitor counters for SQL Server collects TPS, so using Performance Monitor is the easiest way to capture this metric. You can install performance Monitor in the form of a service through Microsoft Windows®nt Server 4.0 Resource Kit or Microsoft Windows Server Resource Kit.
