We are close to the end of this series of articles. I discussed grey with you and some examples of web design using grey. This week, let's be more "black" some and focus on black. Like Gray, Black provides a near-neutral background, which allows other colors in the design to be highlighted. Many photographic sites use a black background to make photos available in the center of the stage.
Black is a very powerful color. It can be very solemn and elegant, and it can make other colors (bright color) highlighted. There is a heavy feeling when you apply only black to other colors. Sometimes you'll see inverted text in print, such as black background and white text, often seen in business cards, but we often see and look very compelling on the site.
Good black and bad black
Some of the connections made by black may be sadness, death, and sin, but the positive black can reveal elegance, passion, confidence, mystery, power and power.
We can also think of some black positive and negative impressions in everyday languages: something beautiful can be described as a black tie, or a master (not just in martial arts) can be said to be black belt. Negative, a person may be a rogue (Blackguard), Black Heart (black-hearted), Bad sheep (a dark sheep) or blacklist (blacklisted).
Use Black in design
Black is a good partner for almost all colors. It makes the other colors look brighter. Even the color of dark colors can be very effective with black. and White can provide a great contrast. Black and red are also very noticeable, and are still attractive when paired with Orange, but may be associated with Halloween. The yellow is really prominent on the black background, but the light blue will convey a conservative taste.
