1. Remove the shadow of the desktop icon
A. Right-click "my computer" and open "System Properties ".
B. Switch to "advanced" and click "set" in "performance" options to enable "performance options ".
C. deselect the "use shadow on the desktop tag" check box in the "Custom" list on the "Visual Effects" tab, and then confirm.
2. How to remove the small arrow of the shortcut,
A. Open the Registry (Run regedit) and expand the hkey_classes_root/lnkfile sub-key.
B. Find the "isshortcut" key in the right window and delete it.
C. close the registry, log out, or restart the registry.
