Be Social (community)
one of the outstanding features on GitHub is the ability to see other people's work and their connections.
follow people (attention)
When you follow someone's GitHub repository, you'll get notifications of your dashboards for their activities.
How to focus: once you're on one of their pages, click on the "Follow" button. You can focus on success.
(watch a project) see an item
at some point, you may want to keep an eye on the latest developments in a project. When you are on a project page, you can click on the "Watch" button at the top. This allows you to receive a notification when the project's author updates the project.
more things you can do
you've learned some of the most basic community interactions that GitHub has to offer, but don't stop there! Look at the other community features:
Pull requests (push request)
You may find yourself wanting to contribute to someone else's project, whether it's adding features or fixing bugs. After making changes, you can send a request to let the original author know about them.
Issues (problem)
When you work with someone, you sometimes encounter problems that need to be fixed. Each library has a problem section to help you track these issues.
Organizations (organization)
have you found that you want to work with multiple people on a project? You can manage every organization! With an organization, you can build teams with special permissions, have a profile of a public organization, and track activities within your organization.
Explore ( browse)
in the https://github.com/explore Discovery or in trending repositories ( trend Knowledge Base)https://github.com/trending Discover items of Interest
You can take the stars that you think are funny and then look back at your star tag page and see all of your tagged items as stars. For example, we open the https://github.com/trending trend Knowledge base and if you are interested in the Chrissimpkins/hack project, click the Star behind the project. "Star" changed to "Unstar" indicates success of the tag
Open your GitHub home page and click the stared button
You will see that the item you have just been interested in has been marked successfully!
