If the following error message is returned when the NFS Server is started under Fedora:
NFS4 idmapd: Error: rpc mtab does not exist.
You can solve this problem in two ways:
(1) Immediate manual execution
Mount-t rpc_pipefs sunrpc/var/lib/nfs/rpc_pipefs/
(2) automatic loading upon startup
Add the following content to "/etc/fstab"
Rpc_pipefs/var/lib/nfs/rpc_pipefs defaults 0 0
Nfsd/proc/fs/nfsd defaults 0 0
PS: If the directory does not exist, you can manually create the "/var/lib/nfs/rpc_pipefs" Directory
