The official website provides free download of the source code, but the help documentation is not very comprehensive. Recently I have read its source code. It is very helpful to debug and run its source code to understand its structure.

Step 1: Prepare the package
Download http://code.google.com/p/zxing/
Compile zxing
Download ant address http://ant.apache.org/
Download proguard address http://proguard.sourceforge.net/index.html#/downloads.html
 
Unzipping: zxing-1.6
Under the directory structure:
Zxing-1.6
-Android
Android-Integration
Core
Build. Properties
Build. xml

Step 2: Configure environment variables.
Open build. Properties
Modify proguard. jar in the Lib folder under proguard downloaded for you to point
Android-Home: Your SDK directory
Proguard-jar = ../proguard4.5.1/lib/proguard. jar is later than 4.4
Android-home = ../Android-SDK-Windows

Configure ant Environment Variables
Ant_home
E: \ mylib \ Java \ ant \ apache-ant-1.8.1
Path
E: \ mylib \ Java \ ant \ apache-ant-1.8.1 \ bin

The ant press enter appears in cmd.

Step 3: Start Compilation

CD to the core directory and then Ant!

Then compile android
CD ../android
