File system crashes, virus infections, hard disk controller failures, and similar other disasters can cause Windows to be unrecoverable errors. When this occurs, Windows displays this error message in Full-screen, windowless text mode, which is known as the blue Screen Panic (BSOD).
Whenever a blue screen Panic (code BSOD) error occurs, this error sends a STOP message, which is a short error message that prompts you for the possible cause of the error. When a BSOD error is caused by a hard drive, the following 5 different stop messages are sent. The
Stop 0x0000007B or inaccessible_boot_device
error message occurs only when Windows starts. There are two scenarios that can cause this error:
Windows cannot initialize the hard drive.
Windows successfully initialized the hard drive, but the data on the system volume was not recognized.
The reason I've seen this type of error is typically caused by a crash or incorrect device drive on the hard drive controller. (This is especially true when the system starts from a SCSI drive or RAID disk array.) However, these errors can also be caused by file system crashes, Hingi viruses, or problems with hard disk hardware. This error can even be found when you include legacy firmware on the hard disk controller of the new system.
Stop 0x00000050 or Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area
In fact, this particular Stop error is usually not associated with a hard disk, and more often, it is due to memory defects. This error occurs when the system attempts to read data from memory but cannot find the requested data.
When this error occurs because of the hard drive, it is usually due to a crashed disk volume or a hard disk cache memory defect.
Stop 0x00000024 Ntfs_file_system
In the next generation of Windows versions, this error message is almost always either due to a system file crash on an NTFS volume or a bad block on the hard disk. Either way, I recommend running the Chkdsk tool and combining/F switches to correct the error. Although CHKDSK can fix many hard disk type errors, using CHKDSK, you must reinstall the latest Windows Service Pack (or reinstall Windows if the new service pack is not yet developed) to overwrite the original system files and render a completely new version.
Older versions of Windows produce this type of error message for different reasons. If there are too many files on the shared volume, the AppleTalk drive will touchSend this error message. This type of error can also be caused by using an incompatible anti-virus program or hard disk tool.
0x00000077 or Kernel_stack_inpage_error
This is another error message, and there are several reasons for this type of error. The error itself means that the system tries to read the data from the paging file, but cannot navigate to the request page. This is usually due to a memory error or a storage hardware problem, such as a loose data band, incorrect SCSI termination, or a bad sector on the hard disk. This error can also occur if another system component has a resource conflict with the hard disk controller, or if a virus is found.
Stop 0x0000007a or Kernel_data_inpage_error
Although this error involves the actual paging file data rather than the stack, the error is actually attributed to the Kernel_stack_inpage_ Error of a class. The only difference is that this error occurs infrequently and occurs when the system is running in the absence of non-paged pool resources.
