Maybe you are an open source enthusiast, maybe you are excited for Linux, but what is in front of you is a cruel reality, it is too difficult to practice! OK. Assume that you have installed a Linux version (my version is RedHat9.0). Let's get started!
1. Download the Apache compressed file (this will not let me talk about it)
2. Put the file under/home/user name and decompress the tar-zxvf file name
3. cd apache1.3
4../configure -- prefix =/home/user name/file name (configuration and installation file)
5. make install (compile and install)
6./home/user name/file name/bin/apacectl start (start the server)
7. Open your browser and type http: // localhost: 8080 to see the familiar page! The server has been configured!
8. Start your own creation! The default directory is/home/user name/file name/htdocs. Save the compiled superfile our.html to the default directory, and then type http: // localhost: 8080/our.html
You can see your work!
9. /Home/user name/file name/bin/apacectl stop (stop the server)
