Connect two routers to share broadband Internet access

Connecting two routers to share broadband access is sometimes necessary. For example, multiple (more than four) computers need to share broadband, but generally the router has only four LAN ports, which is obviously not enough.

 

There should be multiple methods to connect two vrouters according to the internet information. the method I used to successfully test is to use the second vro as a vswitch. The main points are as follows:

 

1. Set the IP address of the second vro to be different from that of the first vro in the "different" ip segment (for example, 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 );

2. Disable the DHCP service of the second vro (that is, prohibit it from automatically allocating IP addresses) and the automatic dialing function (such as pppoe );

3. Insert the network cable connected from the first vro to the "First LAN port" (not the WAN port!) of the second vro !);

4. Connect to the computer of the second vro and set to automatically obtain the IP address;

 

After the above settings, you should be able to access the Internet normally. Of course, the premise is that the first vro has been configured in advance.

 

In fact, I don't understand liigo. I tried it for half a day. I don't want to know.

 

Two additional notes:

 

1. After the above settings, you cannot access the IP address of the second router on the computer connected to the second router (because the IP address of the computer is allocated from the first router ), if you have to access the second vroip IP address (if you need to modify a parameter), you can manually specify the IP address of the computer to use the IP address segment of the second vro. Of course, after this change, you will not be able to access the Internet, you have to change it back before you can access the Internet. This may be an inconvenience caused by Internet sharing. Fortunately, there are not many situations for modifying the second vro parameter. After all, you have already set it and you do not need to change it.

 

2,The wireless function of the second router is normal.. Liigo's meizu M8 mobile phone can receive Wi-Fi signals to enable wireless Internet access.
