How to: Install the SQLServer2005 first, and remember the user name and password that you set up when you installed it. The following steps are described in the example of the database file Epdmdb20101008.bak for the SQLite database, which is backed up by restoring SQL Server.
① opens the SQLServer2005 as shown in the following illustration:
Enter the login name and password at the login interface and click "Connect".
After the login the interface is as follows:
② Create a new database.
Point to the left navigation bar database, right-new database, as shown in the following figure:
Enter the database name in the new Database window that pops up, and click Add. After you add the success point OK. When you add a database, be aware that the database name must be a combination of English and numbers and cannot appear in Chinese characters.
After the addition succeeds, the name of the database that you just added appears below the navigation bar on the left side of the previous illustration. If you add a database with a database name of epdm003, the following illustration shows:
③ Select this database, right-click the task-restore-database, will pop up the Restore Database window, as shown in the following figure:
④ in the Restore Database window, select the database backed up under SQL Server to import data from the SQL Server database into epdm003.
In the Restore Database window, the target database in the restored target is the epdm003 that you just selected, restore source, select Source Device, and click the Browse button behind to select the database to be backed up under SQL Server that needs to be restored. As shown in the following illustration:
Select the point "OK", so that after restoring the source device in the Database window, the database file that is backed up under SQL Server that needs to be restored is displayed. At this point, check the record below the select backup set to restore, as shown in the following figure:
Then click Options on the left, and the options screen will pop up, as shown in the following illustration:
In the window, under Restore options, before overwriting an existing database, check the "Restore Status" option first. then click OK. As shown in the following illustration:
When prompted in the illustration above, the data in the database file backed up under SQL Server has been restored to the EPDM003 database.
⑤ restores the data in the EPDM003 database to the current database that EI5.0 is connected to.
First make sure that the 5.0 software installed on this machine, and can log on normally. If there is data in the 5.0 software now, please make a database backup of 5.0 data first. Because the next thing to do is to restore the data in the EPDM003 database to 5.0 software will overwrite the data in the current 5.0 software. 5.0 after the current database backup is done, this step is detailed in the following ways:
Point Start-Program-Construction Industry Management Information System (survey and Design Enterprise Edition) 5.0-Legacy EI Database Migration Tool, will pop up the old version of the EI Database Migration Tool window, as shown in the following figure:
In the middle of the window, select SQL Server database, which will pop up the following selection of the window to import the data source:
In the window shown above, change the "server" to the point "in the English Input method", "epdm003" after "database", "User name" and "password" to fill in the user name and password that you set up when you installed SQLServer2005, then click "OK". As shown in the following illustration:
When you are sure, you are back in the old version of the EI Database Import window, at which point "import data" and the data below begin scrolling to indicate that the data in epdm003 is being imported into the EI5.0 currently connected database. As shown in the following illustration:
When the data import is finished, you will receive the prompt as shown above "Please note: All login users ' passwords are automatically emptied in the new system, please change the corresponding login password after successful login, thank you!" Data import End ".
After the ⑥ data import is complete, locate the currently connected database, which is the SQLite database that is restored to the SQL Server database after the SQLite database. EI5.0
EI5.0 where is the database currently connected? You can find it as follows:
Start 5.0 software, when the Login window pop-up, click the Login Window "Database Settings", will pop up the database Settings window, as shown in the following figure:
The path behind the SQLite file field in the window shown in the illustration above is the path that the EI5.0 software currently has attached to the database. The final epdmdb.db of the path is the database file for the 5.0 software. Find this file in the path below.
At this point, the SQL Server database conversion to the SQLite database has all completed
