Methods are created

A method is a code snippet that can be called repeatedly.

Defined:

Access modifier return value type method name (parameter) {

Method body

}

return value type: void (no return value), base data type, application data type, class object, etc.

Naming rules for method names: First letter lowercase, multiple words, and the first letter of the following word capitalized. such as username.

Parameters: Method parameters can be no, can be one, or can be multiple. The parameter data type, like the return value type, can be any data type.

Overloading of methods

The method name is the same, but the parameter has a different type or number. Different functions can be accomplished by passing different data types or by varying the number of parameters.
