But these multimedia types are not friendly enough to support on many devices.

CSS3 Multimedia Query

CSS3 's multimedia query inherits all the ideas of the CSS2 multimedia genre: Instead of the type of the lookup device, the CSS3 is displayed adaptively based on the settings.

Media queries can be used to detect many things, such as:

• Width and height of viewport (window)
• Width and height of the device
• Facing (smart phone horizontal screen, vertical screen).
• Resolution

At present, many of the devices for Apple phones, Android phones, tablets and so on will use multimedia queries.
