Unfortunately! A good-end machine finally fell down when I refreshed its BIOS for the nth time: not only is the BIOS data lost, but the bootblock is also damaged, the BIOS chip is soldered to the motherboard. All saving skills do not help. Final decision: deliver repair to the original manufacturer. It may take nearly a month to deliver repairs to the original manufacturer. Is there any use of my computer during this period? If you want to see it, you can still use the optical drive-to play CD music.
Although this is the case, it is not so easy to do: the current power supply is ATX power supply, there is no switch on the power supply, not like at power supply, the power supply is disconnected by simply pressing the switch on the power supply. Although I have connected it to mains, It is indifferent-the D-type power plug does not output what I want + 12 V and + 5 V voltage.
Does this fail? I am unwilling. Since the power supply is connected to the motherboard, and the power switch of the chassis is also connected to the motherboard, you only need to press the power switch to turn on the power supply, it must be because at that time the motherboard gave a power signal. If someone could simulate this signal, wouldn't it be able to turn on the power?
I rushed to the internet cafe and finally found the specifications of the ATX Power Supply Board interface: (see figure)
Specification Description: When standby, 14-foot PS-ON will output 3 to 4.6v high voltage. When you press the chassis power key, the PS-ON will be grounded through the motherboard electronic switch, ATX power is started.
If you know this, you can use the ATX power supply and the optical drive to play the CD! Find a wire, the 14 pin PS-ON and 13 pin com public end (can also be 3, 5, 7, 15, 16, 17 in any of the feet, the ATX power supply is successfully started! Open the optical drive, put a nice CD, connect the speaker signal line to the in-ear hole on the optical drive panel, and then press the audio key on the optical drive. The beautiful music is immediately transmitted from the speaker. It seems that it is not a problem to spend a month without a motherboard.
