3. xmms and xmms2, xmms have poor support for Chinese characters, and xmms2 seems to be good. It took a short time and I forgot why I gave up. Xmms2debian supports ape and cuesheet plug-ins.

4. vlc, which does not support ape, is depressing. In addition, vlc is an excellent software, which is quite popular in both linux and Windows, that is, it does not support skin well.

5. mplayer and debian lenny amd64 do not support long file names (full paths). I do not know whether it is a common cause or an example.

6. gnome comes with totem. There are not many decoders, and more decoders cannot be downloaded from the Internet.

7. rhythmbox. I used to feel better, but there were not many decoders. I haven't installed any more, and I'm not very impressed with the player.

8. alsa-player has never been used.

9. realplayer, used in the past, but amd64 is hard to handle and depressing.

Compile and install audacious1.5.

Decompress the package and enter the corresponding folder. because you do not want to install it in the system directory, but want to install it in the user's bin directory, enter the following command:
Audacious-1.5.0 $./configure -- prefix ~ /Bin

During the configuration process, errors may occur due to the lack of a library in the system at any time. You can install the dev package of the corresponding library.

For example, if libmcs1 is missing, install the libmcs-deb package and run the following command:
