Delete Microsoft. NET Passport information from the computer
If you click the "Automatic Logon" check box when logging on to. Net messenger service, your. NET Passport name and password are stored on your computer. This operation allows you to automatically log on to Windows Messenger. You can delete this information to prevent automatic logon.
On Windows XP Professional:
- Click Start, click control panel, and then click User Account ".
- Click the "advanced" tab, and then click "manage password ".
- In "store user name and password", click "passport. Net/*", and then click "delete ".
This does not delete your. NET Passport, but prevents automatic login.
- Click close, and then click OK ".
On Windows XP Home Edition:
- Click Start, click control panel, and then click User Account ".
- Click the image associated with your account.
- Under related tasks, Click Manage My network password ".
- In the "store user name and password" dialog box, click "passport. Net/* (passport)", and then click "delete ".
- Click OK, and then click Close ".
