3D desktop effects under Ubuntu 8.04 have been a concern for Linux beginners. For specific settings (I), see related knowledge of setting 3D desktop effects under Ubuntu 8.04.
1. Add a Cube background to the 3D Desktop of Ubuntu 8.04: (for the effect, see) Click Desktop Cube (in the Desktop category) to enter its attributes. In the Appearance option, click Skydome, select the background, and add your favorite image (that is, the sky background image when the 3D desktop is rotated) in the background image (SEE); select the animation background, allows sky images to move with the cube desktop.
2. Automatically arrange the Ubuntu 8.04 desktop on the screen: Check the Expo (in the desktop category), click Expo, and click the "key combination" page, click the option button on the right of the Expo edge project and click the upper-right corner of the pop-up window. I have set it here. The figure in the upper-right corner turns green, and then click "OK ", the button is changed to "Top Right ". (See) move the mouse over the top-right corner of the desktop. The four desktops are neatly arranged in a 3D space (or the effect of the super + E shortcut is the same ), you can drag a window from one desktop to another, or even put it in the middle of two desktops! Move the mouse over the top-right corner of the desktop to restore the desktop to normal. (For the effect, see)
