Difference between CSS margin and padding

I. Introduction

In css, there are two types of position attributes: margin and padding. The difference is that margin sets the outer margin and padding sets the inner margin.

For the css model box:

Note: Setting margin indicates setting the distance between the current element and the other layer;

Set padding to set the distance from the element of the layer.
