Difference in USB flash drive performance

Differences in USB flash drive performance-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information. For details, refer to the following section. I went to the computer city to buy a 4g usb flash drive. Because I used a lot of USB flash drives before, I felt that the performance was quite different. This time I was very careful to let the store take some USB flash drives and test them on his computer, as I thought, the difference was not very big. The test method was very simple. I found a folder about m on the store's computer and copied it to the USB flash drive, (I only tested the write speed. The read speed is usually much faster than the write speed.

I tested three USB flash drives and three brands. The results were 3 Mb/s, 6 Mb/s, and 10 Mb/s respectively. Naturally, I took 10 Mb/s, which is strange. In order to verify, I took a new 10 Mbit/S USB flash drive, but it was only 6 Mbit/S. That is, the USB flash drive of the same brand is quite different (still a well-known brand ), the store said it was genuine and said that different batches of USB flash drives may have different chips, so I was speechless.

I went back and tested it again on my own computer. I found that writing speed in Ubuntu is much slower than that in Windows's USB flash drive. In Ubuntu, only 5 M/S can be detected, in my XP, it is also 10 M/S.
