NFS is developed by SUN for sharing resources between UNIX machines. It is quite easy to set, mainly to configure the/etc/exports file, and then run exportfs-a to share it. Now NFS has become a standard for UNIX/LINUX.
Both documents indicate that their efficiency is higher :) from my experience, nfs efficiency is slightly higher, but the difference is not great.
From the configuration point of view, samba is complicated and nfs is relatively simple. But the complexity is complicated, which allows us to flexibly configure
