2. Continue to remember the Gateway IP address in the NAT Settings under the directory. Here I am at 192.168.242.2. This step is very important ......

3. Double-click Ethernet at Devices in the lower-right corner of the virtual machine interface, and select NAT mode for network connection.

4. Open a WINDOWS network connection and view your IP address, subnet mask, and DNS.

5. Go to the LINUX operating system:

A. desktop-> Management-> network-> DNS: Enter the primary DNS and the secondary DNS you just noted down.

B. select eth0 from the device and double-click it. In the static IP Address Setting column, set the gateway address (note that it is not in WINDOWS but in virtual machines), IP address, and subnet mask.
