Dot Hill systems recently announced the launch of its new SANnet storage system SANnet II for the SMB market. The second generation of SANnet is also an optical fiber channel SATA storage system. It has 12 disk bits in 2U shape space and can provide 3 TB storage space. By using the expansion module, up to 16 TB of storage capacity can be achieved.

According to Dana, founder and CTO of Dot Hill, SANnet II has strong scalability, host connection capability, and system performance. The SMB market is highly competitive in terms of ease of use, ease of installation and configuration.
