Easily populate an ordinal series in Excel

Friends who have used Excel believe that they have had this experience, that is, when we fill in a very long table number, dragging with the mouse is difficult to locate. In fact, in another way, it may be a lot easier to fill a long serial number.

"Note" The techniques described in this article have been tested in Excel 2003 through

1. Open an Excel file that needs to populate the ordinal column

2. Enter a good ordinal initial value, and the mouse to select

3. Then double-click the fill handle below the initial value. At this point, Excel automatically detects the length of the record and sets the ordinal number in sequence.

"Tips" When you use this technique, Excel automatically detects that the first blank line stops, so if you have more than one blank row in your table, you no longer apply this technique.
