Fedora16 no longer uses the inittab mode to configure the startup environment, but uses the systemd mode to start the system into multi-user mode: Enter: ln-si/lib/systemd/system/multi-user.target/etc/systemd/system/default.targetprompt override default.tar get, Type y restart to enter multi-user mode boot to enter the desktop environment: Final

Fedora 16 does not use inittab to configure the startup environment, but uses systemd.

Boot into multi-user mode:

Enter:

Ln-si/lib/systemd/system/multi-user.target/etc/systemd/system/default.tar get

Prompt ult.tar get to overwrite ult.tar, and Type y

Restart to enter multi-user mode

Boot into the desktop environment:

Enter:

Ln-si/lib/systemd/system/graphical.tar get/etc/systemd/system/default.tar get

Prompt ult.tar get to overwrite ult.tar, and Type y

Restart to enter the desktop environment
