FedoraCore6DNS cannot resolve domain names !!!!! -- Linux Enterprise Application-Linux server application information. For details, refer to the following section. My host system is windows server 2003 EE. The virtual machine installed is VMare server 1.05. The Fedora6 installed on the virtual machine has the \ DNS configured. The configuration file should be correct, the Bind is also started normally, and no exception is found when you view the/etc/log/messages transfer log. however, it is found that domain names can only be resolved on the local machine, ping the domain name, ping the ip can be all, other machines can not. run nslookup to check whether no server is reached. later, I simply stopped the Bind, and the machine can still be parsed! From this point of view, Bind does not work at all !!!!
Why does it seem that the Bind is started normally and there is no exception in the startup log? Why does the Bind not work?
