Use the Word2010 Find and Replace feature to find and replace characters, and to find and replace character formatting (such as finding or replacing fonts, font sizes, font colors, and so on), as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window, and in the edit group in the Start ribbon, click find → Select the Advanced Find button, as shown in Figure 2010081208.

Step 2nd, click the More button in the Open Find and Replace dialog box to display more lookup options, as shown in Figure 2010081209.

Step 3rd, click the left mouse button in the Find what edit box to make the cursor in the edit box. Then click the Format button in the Find area, as shown in Figure 2010081210.

Step 4th, click the appropriate format type (for example, font, paragraph, and so on) in the Open Format menu, and click the Font command, as shown in Figure 2010081211.

The 5th step opens the Find Fonts dialog box, which allows you to select the font, font size, color, bold, and italic options you want to find. This example selects the bold option and clicks the OK button, as shown in Figure 2010081212.

Step 6th, return to the Find and Replace dialog box, and click the Find Next button to find the format, as shown in Figure 2010081213.

Tip: If you need to replace the original format with the specified format, you can switch to the Replace tab. Then specify the format you want to replace, and click Replace All button.
